About Short Term Training Programme (STTP):
Understanding EV design procedure with precise appropriate components selection is important. On one hand, safety assurance of Li-ion battery in an EV is foremost concern and in other hand, the safe and convenient charging infrastructures to transfer electric energy from the mains and/or alternative power sources through charging equipment and connector to an EV, is also a key factor to promote the EV sustainability. This programme is expected to accelerate the ongoing research activities at various institutions and industries. This STTP provides an opportunity for faculty and research scholars to have an interaction with national and international renowned experts in the area of electric transportation.
Objectives:
This STTP objective is to make participant to understand
πΈ Electric Motor modelling and control design.
πΈ Retrofitting of Existing Petrol/Diesel Vehicle into Electric in a sequential way.
πΈ Design, Analysis and Implementation of Bi-Directional DC-DC Converters for EV Operation.
πΈ Motor, Battery, Controller and Charger Selection for BEV.
πΈEV Safety measures for BEV.
π£ Note for special appreciation certificate:
π Participants who attend all the 4 series (A to D) with 100% attendance and get score of 80% or above in the evaluation test in each series will be given appreciation certificate with Gold medal stamp.
π Participants who attend any 3 series (A to D) with 100% attendance and get score of 80% or above in the evaluation test in each series will be given appreciation certificate with Silver medal stamp.
